How do you manage your research data?
Research data management practices, such as creating data management plans and depositing data in research data repositories, are increasingly becoming standard requirements in funding applications, journal submissions, and general best practices for research. With the approach of the data deposit requirement of the Tri-Agency Research Data Management (RDM) Policy (2021), the expectations of good data management have become even more important to researchers across Canada. How are researchers at Queen’s meeting these requirements?
Your participation matters!
Queen’s University Library, in collaboration with the Vice-Principal (Research) Portfolio, are conducting a survey to understand the level of knowledge across the community, the readiness of the research community to meet Tri-Agency requirements related to data management plans and data deposits, and identify any key challenges and needs to support research across our organization.
How to participate
Check your inbox for an invitation to the 2026 RDM Survey. The survey should only take 20-30 minutes and can be forwarded to any other member of Queen’s University research community.
The survey will be live until June 11, 2026.
